Plants are living organisms. From plants we can get raw materials to make into cloth and building supplies.  Plants can also be turned into lifesaving medicines and food sources.  Their beauty enhances the environment and contributes to the well-being of other living creatures. Plants include grasses, trees, herbs, mosses, algae, and ferns.  This kingdom is of great value.  As they are at the top level of the food chain.  The study of the properties, structures, and processes of plants is called botany.
