Nancy and the Kite of Kindness

Nancy and the Kite of Kindness

Nancy looked up at the bright orange kite dancing in the sky.
“Oh, how I wish I had a kite,” she whispered, holding her hands together.

Every afternoon, Nancy would sit under the same tree and watch other children fly their colorful kites. She felt a little sad, but she never complained. Instead, she smiled and clapped for them.

One day, as she watched quietly, she noticed a boy struggling. His kite was tangled in a tree, and he looked frustrated.

Nancy stood up and walked over.
“Do you need help?” she asked kindly.

The boy sighed. “Yes… I can’t reach it.”

Nancy thought for a moment, then ran to get a long stick. Together, they carefully worked until the kite came free.

“You did it!” the boy said, surprised. “Thank you!”

Nancy smiled. “We did it together.”

The next day, Nancy returned to her tree as usual. But this time, the same boy came running toward her.

“This is for you,” he said, handing her a beautiful orange kite. “You helped me when I needed it. I want to share this with you.”

Nancy’s eyes sparkled with joy. “Really? Thank you!”

As her kite soared into the sky, Nancy felt happier than ever before—not just because she had a kite, but because she had shown kindness.

From that day on, Nancy remembered something very important:

When you help others with a kind heart, good things find their way back to you.
